The Stanford Park Hotel is always looking for dedicated people.
Currently, we have the following positions available:
Sous Chef
This person will assist in overseeing all culinary operations in the Duck Club Restaurant (fine dining), The Lounge at the Park,
Room Service and Banquets. The ideal Sous Chef candidate will have 3+ years supervisory experience in an upscale hotel/restaurant.
The ideal candidate must also have a culinary degree or equivalent schooling. A strong Banquets background would be ideal.
He/she must be hands on, technically strong, possess strong administrative and interpersonal skills and must have excellent
leadership skills to assist in managing all culinary operations. It is plus if the Sous Chef is able to communicate effectively
in Spanish.
Banquet Server (2 Positions)
Must have 2+ years prior Banquet service experience in an upscale environment, hotel experience is preferred. Must have excellent customer service skills and must be able to communicate effectively in a friendly and professional manner. Bartending experience is a plus. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights holidays and weekends.
Relief Night Auditor/Graveyard Bell person
Responsible for assisting guests and running all end of business day transactions and reports. Position will check guests in and out at the Front Desk. When performing bell person duties, candidate will assist guests with their luggage and will deliver all guest faxes, special deliveries. Candidate will also drive the hotel shuttle and will also be responsible for taking, preparing and delivering room service orders and will patrol the hotel and its grounds throughout the shift. Candidate will work three Night Audit shifts
and will work two Bellperson shifts per week. Previous hotel front office experience is preferred, the ideal candidate must have a clear DMV record and must be able to multi-task with limited supervision.
Duck Club Food Server (2 Positions)
Must have 2+ years prior fine dining food service experience. Must have excellent customer service skills and must be able to communicate effectively and in a professional manner. Must have strong wine and food knowledge. Knowledge of Micros and Open table is preferred. Must be able to work nights, holidays and weekends.
Room Service Server
Serves meals to guests in their rooms while ensuring the hotel's high quality standards are met. Delivers Room Service orders to guestrooms. Collects payment and or presents Room Service check to the guest for signature and makes change if necessary. Must be able to effectively communicate in English. Previous Food & Beverage service experience is preferred. Must be able to work holidays, nights and weekends.
