WOODSIDE RESORTS GOES 100% NON-SMOKING

San Mateo, Calif. -- Woodside Hotels, Northern California's premier hotel group announced that it is 100 percent non-smoking in all guestrooms and public areas of its hotels. The six California properties include the Bodega Bay Lodge & Spa in Bodega Bay; the Half Moon Bay Lodge in Half Moon Bay; the Lafayette Park Hotel in Lafayette; the Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa in Monterey; the Napa Valley Lodge in Yountville; and the Stanford Park Hotel in Menlo Park.

"This was a gradual process for the company that began with the Napa Valley Lodge nearly four years ago," said David Issel, Senior Vice President of Operations. "Our guests have become more selective when they patronize a hotel and it is clear that a non-smoking environment is a very desirable component when making their reservations."
