Suspended over the waters of Monterey Bay, Schooners Bistro on the Bay offers fresh fare in a unique indoor/outdoor dining environment. The heated outdoor terrace invites al fresco dining year round, while the classic sailing vessel design makes indoor seating fun and appealing in all weather conditions.

Schooners' menu highlights fresh seafood with your choice of several different preparations. The expansive menu also includes pastas, hot appetizers, unique salads, soups and hearty sandwiches. Mouth-watering house-made desserts end every meal on a sweet note.

Schooners' beverage menu includes the award-winning "Best Margarita" and "Best Specialty Drink" in Monterey County, premium spirits and a wine list specializing in California's finest wines.

Offering panoramic views of Monterey Bay, the Duck Club Grill offers innovative cuisine and impeccable service in an elegant ambiance. The distinctive American Grill menu features the freshest local produce, sustainable seafood and oak-broiled steaks. Wood-roasted specialties, such as Steinbeck's Duck and Colorado Lamb Chops, are prepared in the exhibition kitchen using our Italian wood-burning oven. Delectable soups, salads, and "out-of-this-world" desserts are created using only the finest ingredients available.

The Wine Spectator award-winning wine list, selection of cocktails and after-dinner cordials, complements a truly unique dining experience.

The Duck Club is also available for private parties and groups, Monday through Friday.

From Thanksgiving to New Year's Eve, the Monterey Plaza has many events to make your holiday fun and easy.

Thanksgiving Buffet Monterey Bay Room
Serving a Thanksgiving style buffet 12:00 noon – 6:00pm to the sound of harp music and beautiful bay views. $47.00 for adults and $23 for children.

Turkeys To Go
For $135.00 plus tax you can pick up your 12-14 pound turkey with all the fixings for up to 12 people and just relax and enjoy the holiday. Can be special ordered any day prior to Thanksgiving or Christmas, with 24 hour notice, and picked up the day of the holiday between 10:00am and 3:00pm. Last day to order is November 26th and December 24th at 3:00pm. *Turkey to go orders must be canceled 24 hours in advance.

Duck Club Grill Thanksgiving Dinner
Serving a four-course Thanksgiving dinner from 1:00pm – 8:00pm. Price depends on entrée choice ranging from $50.00-$54.00 per person and $190.00 for four people. Whole Turkeys carved tableside can be ordered 48 hours in advance.

Holiday Luncheon at the Duck Club Grill
For $32 a person you, your friends and family can enjoy a three-course holiday lunch; included with the lunch is complimentary champagne, coffee and valet parking. This is available through December.

Duck Club Grill New Years Eve Dinner
Regular hours and regular menu are offered but in addition there is a special, for $75.00 a three-course meal is available. Complimentary champagne and party favors come with the special. $105.00 per person with wine and $75 per person without wine.

Executive Chef James Waller
Under Chef Waller's expert direction, since 1997, restaurant and banquet menus are comprised of fresh, contemporary dishes that make innovative use of Monterey's agricultural and aquatic bounty, while harmoniously blending traditional and new styles of cuisine.

"The abundance of fresh foods available on the Monterey Peninsula makes it possible to develop menus that are simple, elegant, and exciting," said Waller. "We've added more fresh seafood selections and more grilled entrees, lightening the menu and enhancing the flavors. After implementing the new menu in The Duck Club, I applied the same concept to our banquet menus and now we have satisfied restaurant diners as well as banquet patrons."
